The MD-GAS COST Action is organized in three strongly interconnected Working Groups (WGs) tailored to achieve the Action objectives:
  • WG1 - New high-performance instrumentation and experimental methods to study gas phase molecular dynamics
  • WG2 - Survival and destruction of molecules following energetic processing
  • WG3 - Charge-, energy flow, and molecular growth in intermolecular and intracluster reactions

COST Action CA18212

The main aim of the Action is to develop a new physical and chemical toolbox to significantly advance the understanding of: Gas phase molecular dynamics induced in interactions between molecules or clusters and photons, electrons, or heavy particles. Its consequences for a broad range of applications in e.g. astrochemical and atmospheric sciences, and molecular radiation damage.
